Burn the Bird- Aloha Style

This year we are travelling to the Big Island of Hawaii to spend the holiday with our good friends, the Pendanos, who moved there a little over a year ago.

We love our tradition of hosting a "burn the bird" class and since we have switched it to a virtual platform we can continue the tradition this year while we are out vacationing.

We will only offer one class this year on Thanksgiving morning at 10 am (PST) from the beach in Hawaii.

If you are interested in joining the class, please text or email Myles or me to let us know that you want to participate and we will send you the class zoom link.

As always, we encourage EVERYONE to attend. Grab your relatives, or friends, or people you like to torture, and join in as a group to partake in the fun Thanksgiving tradition of getting a good "butt kicking" in before feasting and napping the rest of the day.

This year we are holding this event as a fundraiser for Make A Wish. So we are encouraging people to make a donation to our fundraising page.

Elin has been the recipient of a "wish" recently. Our family will soon be the proud owners of Elin's horse/pony- Rio- a Chincoteague pony that is an amazing fit for us. Elin has been riding horses as a form a therapy since she was 4 so this is a dream come true for her. Anya and I also ride horses, and Rio will be kept in shape with us riding him and keeping him mentally challenged. It's honestly an amazing gift for our entire family!

So in the vein of giving back and "being grateful", we would like to raise some money for the amazing organization that is making our little girl's dream come true. What 10 year old doesn't want her own pony?

Here are a few videos of Elin on Rio and a PowerPoint video of Elin's life with horses.

Hope to see many of you online on Thanksgiving morning ready to sweat and laugh with Myles and I.
