Myles’s personal training career began in 2001 after receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Washington University. Immediately following graduation, he began his personal training career at a high end health club in Bellevue, Washington.

After establishing a devoted client base, Myles opened his own business, Arete Athletics in 2006. He holds advanced certifications through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), CSCS National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), USA Weight Lifting Sport Performance Coach, FMS-1, International Youth and Conditioning Association YFS-1, and Muscle Activation Technique Jump Start.


Myles maintains a full schedule of personal training clients ranging in age from 8-93 with varying levels of exercise experience. He works with a wide range of clientele from beginning exercisers to elite athletes and everyone in between.  Myles believes the best part of his job is watching clients achieve physical feats that they did not think would be possible. 

 

He continues his fitness education and stays on top of trends and new practices by participating in educational events and seminars. Integrating this information into his personal routine allows him to create fun and effective workouts for all of his clientele. He is also devoted to educating the community on positive health and exercise practices.
